Setup domains
You can add, connect, and verify domains with your Spreadly team to:
i) Block new registrations from users using an email address from the domain, ensuring they are centrally provisioned.
ii) Automatically add members to your team with the specific email domain.
To do this, you need to first add and verify the domain.
In Spreadly, go to "Team > Settings > Domains".
Enter the domain you want to add. For example, to manage users with an email address like john.doe@acme.com, add acme.com as a domain.
Verify the domain by adding the required DNS record to your domain. A detailed step-by-step guide will be provided.
After adding the domain, ensure the records are saved, then click "Verify Domain".
Once all records are properly configured, the domain will be ready to use.
Note: We periodically confirm the ownership of your domain. Ensure the DNS records remain intact and are not deleted.
By enabling Auto-Join, all users who sign up for Spreadly with an @domain email address will automatically be added to your team and gain access to your templates.
This setting prevents users with an @domain email address from signing up independently. Only members of your team will be allowed to register for Spreadly with the specified email address.
To remove a domain and its settings from your team, click on "Remove Domain".
