Want to organize your team better or set up different groups for projects, departments, or whatever you need? With Spreadly, creating groups is super easy! In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to create a new group, from start to finish.

Before you start: You’ll need to have the right permissions to create a group. If you don’t see the “Add group” button, talk to your admin!

1. Open the Groups Overview

First, head over to your team’s “Groups” section. Here you’ll see a list of all current groups in your organization.

2. Enter Basic Group Information

A new page will pop up where you can set up your group’s basics:

  • Set up automatic member assignments

Take your time to fill out any details that will help your group run smoothly.
