Connect Spreadly with Outlook Contacts

Note: Sync with Outlook Contacts only works with company Outlook accounts, not with Outlook.com or Hotmail accounts.

How the Outlook Integration Works

You can connect Spreadly with Outlook Contacts directly from the CRM integrations section. Once connected, your Leads will automatically sync to your Outlook Contacts.

Important Differences from Other CRM Integrations

The Outlook integration works a bit differently than other CRM integrations:

  • Personal connection only: Unlike other integrations where connecting on the team level assigns contacts to individual users, the Outlook integration only syncs with the specific Outlook account that's connected.
  • Team-level consideration: If you connect Outlook on the team level, all contacts will go to the single user who connected their Outlook account. Keep this in mind when setting up the integration for your team.

IT Administrator Approval

Depending on your company's IT security settings, you may need approval from an IT administrator before Spreadly can access and write to your Outlook contacts. This is a standard security measure for apps connecting to company Microsoft accounts.

If your IT department doesn't approve the Spreadly app connection, don't worry—there's an alternative method.

Alternative: Manual Export and Import

If the direct integration isn't available due to IT security restrictions, you can export your Leads from Spreadly as an Excel file and import them into Outlook Contacts manually.
