Types of Custom Lead Fields
Hey there! In this article, we’re diving into the different types of custom lead fields you can set up with Spreadly. Whether you want to collect info with forms, enrich your CRM data with AI, or automatically fill fields from card scans. Spreadly’s got you covered.
Overview: What are Custom Lead Fields?
Custom lead fields let you collect or enrich data about your leads. You can pick from several field types depending on your needs. Some fields can be auto-filled by our scanner (like info from business cards), while AI enrichment fields handle data enrichment in the background.

1. AI Enrichment Fields
AI Enrichment fields are automatically filled by Spreadly’s AI in the background and are perfect for automating tasks without user interaction.
Set up example:

- Name: The field name (internal only).
- Type: AI Enrichment.
- AI Prompt: What the AI should fetch (e.g. “Get the SIC code and SIC name of the company.”).
- CRM field: Where this info is sent in your CRM.
2. Single Line Text Fields
This is the classic text input — great for names, job titles, or any short info. You can set an example value and even enable auto fill from the card scanner.
