Map Custom Lead Fields to Your CRM

Want to sync not just the default lead details (like name, contact details, job info) but also your custom fields from Spreadly to your CRM? No problem! In this guide, we'll show you step by step how to map custom lead fields, including how to grab the right API key from your CRM system (specifically for HubSpot and Pipedrive).

Note: If your CRM field is a dropdown/select field and your custom field in Spreadly is also a select, we'll automatically pull the predefined options from your CRM. No extra setup needed. Just map and go!

1. Create or Edit a Custom Lead Field in Spreadly

First, head to the Custom Attributes section in your Spreadly dashboard.

Go to "Custom Attributes"

When creating or editing your custom attribute, you'll see a CRM field input. This is where you'll paste the CRM field's API key (sometimes called "internal name" or "field key").

Actions > View all properties

  1. Search or Browse for Your Property, Then Click "Manage properties"

Search property and manage

  1. Find the Property and Click It

3. Paste the API Key into Spreadly

Head back to the custom field in Spreadly and paste the copied API key into the CRM field input.

That's it! Your custom Spreadly field will now sync directly with your CRM's custom property.

FAQs & Tips

If you want to map select/dropdown fields, make sure both your CRM and Spreadly field types match. We'll take care of syncing the options for you!

Be sure to use the internal name/API key, not the display label of the field. Otherwise, syncing won't work.
